█ 概要

2007年4月15日12時19分に，三重県北部の深さ16kmを震源とするマグニチュード（Mw） 5.0 の地震が発生し，三重県亀山市で震度5強，鈴鹿市・津市・伊賀市で震度5弱を観測したほか，広い範囲で震度4を観測しました。発震機構解は北東-南西に圧縮軸をもつ逆断層型であり，地殻内で発生した地震です。
震央は布引山地東縁断層帯の明星ヶ岳断層と椋本（むくもと）断層の間に位置します。本震の2分前にはM3.4の東西圧縮の逆断層型の地震が発生していました。
（深さは防災科研Hi-netシステムによる暫定処理結果，マグニチュード及びメカニズム解は防災科研F-netによる手動解析処理結果に基づく。）
