※ Continuous Waveform Images Notes.

We plot the continuous seismic waveforms every one-hour at each seismic station operated by NIED and JMA. One-minute (60-second) traces are plotted in order, from top to bottom, at the same scale shown in the upper right corner. Amplitudes are expressed as the velocity of ground motion (nm/s). Plots are available for May 2007 and later. Images are automatically generated with two hours delay. These images are in PNG format, and you can also be downloaded as high-resolution postscript images (compressed in zip format) for the most recent 30 days. In the case of data problems images are not available. This service may be suspended without prior notice for system updates or maintenance.

When all of the components are at a station out-of-order, images at the station are not available.
